What is CP Digital Media?
CP Digital Media is a 2 year program that is designed to teach 11th and 12th grade students how to make professional-quality designs and take professional studio and on-location photographs. We will explore how cameras and digital software are used to create products for ourselves and real clients. Digital Media students develop technical and creative skills along with professional people skills to learn how to produce and market design-oriented products.
Each student in CP Digital Media will graduate with:
- an online portfolio of work
- a professional resume
- the opportunity to earn a certificate in Adobe Photoshop (photo editing software) and Adobe Illustrator (graphic design software)
CP Digital Media is for students who are interested in:
- Digital arts and computers
- Photography
- Design
- Tshirt/Clothing Design
- Digital drawing / Digital painting
- Marketing & Sales
- Working with clients
- Creative problem solving
- Learning by doing
- Working with a team
- Leadership skills
Students will also learn how to be confident professionals by practicing collaborations, sharing ideas and managing project requirements. If you’re interested in making designs or taking pictures, this is the program for you!

Digital Media students work with real clients from BOYCP and the community to create products for real-world use.

Students learn how to create designs for clothing, and often are commissioned by BOYCP programs to create designs that are actually used for real products. Check out some of our recent commissioned apparel designs below:
Graphic Design Project Examples
Digital Media students learn how to use digital image manipulation and design software to create 100% original graphics for both personal and client use. Students also learn how to print these products on a large scale ink plotter printer.
