IB LEARNERS OF THE MONTH- Aljeer, Jimmy, Nataly and Adrian!

Congratulations to the April IB Learners of the Month! This month's IB learner profile characteristics were open-mindedness and risk-taking. The winners are Aljeer J, Jimmy C, Nataly G and Adrian C. These individuals demonstrated open-mindedness and risk-taking by seeking out multiple points of view and being resilient when challenges arise. Congratulations Bobcats!

Back-to-School Countdown - The First Day of School is Monday, August 26, 2024

The back-to-school countdown is here! You can also find everything you need to know about the upcoming year at cps.edu/b2s. Some important reminders for the new school year:

CPS continues to provide students with free breakfast and lunch at school each day. See what’s on our school's menu by using MealViewer via cps.edu/food. On MealViewer families and staff can create student profiles and be alerted when food allergens are on the menu.

Students and accompanying adults can get a free ride on the CTA and Metra on the first day of school.

All students are encouraged to be up-to-date on health and wellness requirements and immunizations (both required and recommended) for their age and grade level before the first day of school AND ahead of the state-mandated October 15th, 2024 deadline.

We look forward to seeing our students back in class starting Monday, August 26, 2024.
