About Me:
My name is Ms. Baez and this will be my 20th year of teaching. I have taught grades 5-8 in the past on the northwest side of Chicago and later I taught 9th-12th grades in Little Village. I have been working with students in the 9th-12th grade here at back of the yards since it opened. My background is in Social Science and English but I am the school Librarian. You will find me in the very back space located near the main office and the cafeteria.
My passions are books and music from different parts of the world. I am here to help so if you have any questions regarding research,YA books, clubs, getting involved in school somehow, I will help you find whatever you are looking for.
