Welcome to DP Visual Arts HL
Two year program: Develop your portfolio of artwork while earning college credit! Investigate art history, while analyzing contemporary artwork from around the globe. Strengthen your ability to write about art - your own, and others' work. Curate your own gallery show, which will be open to the public in March of your senior year.
Work in your choice of media: drawing, painting, photography, film, sculpture.
Exhibition of your best 8-11 artwork during senior year is required.
How can I take this class? Apply for the DP program during your sophomore year, OR contact Mrs Strentz or Mr Cobban to take the class as an elective.
