We hope everyone is looking forward to a well-deserved long weekend ahead. Please note that Monday, October 13 is a CPS holiday in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day. All CPS schools and offices will be closed, and there will be no classes for students on that day.
A heartfelt thank-you to all the families who attended our virtual Know Your Rights session this past Wednesday, October 8. We appreciate your continued partnership and engagement as we navigate these challenging and uncertain times together.
To further support our families, we are sharing two important resources: the Appointment of Short-Term Guardianship in English and Spanish and a Family Support Guide. The short-term guardianship form is available in the main office—please encourage your student to stop by during their lunch period if your family would like a copy.

Esperamos que todos disfruten de un merecido fin de semana largo. Tenga en cuenta que el lunes, 13 de octubre es un día festivo CPS en observancia del Día de los Pueblos Indígenas. Todas las escuelas y oficinas de CPS estarán cerradas, y no habrá clases para los estudiantes en ese día.

Para apoyar aún más a nuestras familias, estamos compartiendo dos recursos importantes: el Nombramiento de Tutela a Corto Plazo en inglés y español y una Guía de Apoyo Familiar. El formulario de tutela a corto plazo está disponible en la oficina principal, por favor anime a su estudiante a pasar durante su período de almuerzo si su familia desea una copia.
