Dear BOYCP School Community,
We are so proud of our students this week—we hit an amazing 92%+ attendance rate for the Practice ACT! Keep an eye out, as students will start receiving their scores via email soon.
It’s hard to believe we are already a quarter of the way through the school year! To wrap up Q1, our Bobcats will take their interim assessments next week to showcase everything they’ve mastered so far. You can help them shine by encouraging a little extra review time with their study guides over the coming days!
Two Quick Items for Your Radar:
- Bobcat Reports Sent Home Today: During advisory today, students received their Bobcat Reports (showing current grades and attendance). Please take a few minutes this weekend to sit down with your Bobcat and review their progress together.
- Save the Date — In-Person Report Card Pick-Up! Teachers will finalize Q1 grades on Friday, October 23rd. We invite all families to join us in person on Monday, November 2nd, between 11:45 AM and 6:00 PM to pick up report cards and chat with teachers about how we can continue supporting your student.

¡Estamos súper orgullosos de nuestros estudiantes esta semana! Logramos una increíble tasa de asistencia de más del 92 % para la prueba de práctica del ACT. Estén al pendiente, ya que muy pronto los alumnos comenzarán a recibir sus resultados por correo electrónico.
¡Cuesta creer que ya estamos a la cuarta parte del año escolar! Para cerrar este primer trimestre (Q1), nuestros Bobcats tomarán sus evaluaciones acumulativas (interim assessments) la próxima semana para demostrar todo lo que han aprendido. ¡Ustedes pueden ayudarlos a brillar animándolos a repasar un poco más con sus guías de estudio durante estos días!
Dos avisos rápidos para tomar en cuenta:
- Los Reportes Bobcat fueron enviados a casa hoy: Durante el periodo de asesoría (advisory) de hoy, los estudiantes recibieron sus Reportes Bobcat (que muestran sus calificaciones actuales y su asistencia). Por favor, tómense unos minutos este fin de semana para sentarse con su hijo(a) y revisar juntos su progreso.
- Reserve la fecha — Entrega presencial de boletas de calificaciones: Los maestros cerrarán las calificaciones del primer trimestre el viernes 23 de octubre. Invitamos a todas las familias a acompañarnos en persona el lunes 2 de noviembre, entre las 11:45 a. m. y las 6:00 p. m., para recoger las boletas y platicar con los maestros sobre cómo seguir apoyando a sus estudiantes.
Nos encanta trabajar en equipo con ustedes para celebrar el crecimiento y el esfuerzo de sus hijos. ¡Vamos a cerrar el primer trimestre con todo!
