Listen to the descriptions of the families and choose the family described.

Nous avons écouté 4 chanteurs et chanteuse (vidéos liées dans la présentation de 5 à 9 décembre). Puis, nous les avons décrits en mettant des X dans les boîtes qui correspondent.

Bonjour, la classe! Please complete the following today:
1. Do-Now: complete the do-now question

2. Votre nom français. You're going to pick a French name to learn more about! Complete the activity on the Google Doc attached and submit your work.

3. Finish the reading activity from yesterday (After the test reading) if you haven't already.

4. If you have time, create a game or quiz that would help a new student study the concepts we've learned in French class so far. For example, you could make a Kahoot, a bingo game, a short quiz, etc.
Be sure to submit all of your work.

5. Fill out the exit ticket for 9/15.

Also, don't forget that you can sign up to retake or make up any performance task that you either missed or that you received a 79% or less on. Fill out the attached form.

When you finish the Quizizz, read the dialogue about the tv host on page 6 (bottom right.)


Answer the question under the dialogue.

Then, rewrite the dialogue with new nationalities!

Step 2: With your group, what comparisons can you make between French naming culture and other naming cultures that you know? Write notes at the end of the article.

Step 3: With your group, what questions can you ask about French names that you might be able to develop into a research question? Write 3-5 questions and put them at the end of the article.

Step 4: Pick one of the questions from step 3 to answer. OR pick one of the links from the article to explore further.
