8th Period Advanced Mix Chorus II-2 Assignments

1. Watch the video and install Hippo Video Extension to your chrome extensions
2. Use Hippo Video to create your Juxtaposition project
3. Edit the video to cut out unwanted parts
4. Download the video using the down arrow
5. Rename the video to YOUR LAST NAME-JUXTAPOSITION.MP4
6. Upload that video to this Google Classroom assignment and mark it as turned in

We will learn this very short section as a class and then you'll be on your own to record the parts. Use a piano, or piano app to help u navigate each pitch in 6/8 time.

This is Eugenia's Coffee House song, and she'd like the Choir to join one of the Choruses, and an additional part in the middle which we'll do later this week. Today and tomorrow, please focus only on the CHORUS of the song, which is in the Tutorial video.

Monday-Learn the Chorus and record high quality well lit video of you singing the chorus.
Tuesday (By the end of 8th period) Upload your video to the drive folder or get it to me however works best for you.

At the very least, lip sync the chorus, but obv I need voices on this thing so try your absolute best to learn the melody and lyrics of the chorus today!

Options for submission: attach a picture of your written scales, or submit a video of you playing them on piano or in bandlab.

Go to bandlab.com and film your performance of the C major scale in both the low octave and the high. Upload your video below.
Be sure to introduce the assignment with this intro- "Hey Mr. Morrow, here's my lower octave C major scale (play it) and here's my higher octave of the C major scale."
