About Me

My name is Chelsea Moorman. I am starting my 10th year here at BOYCP. Since starting here, I have taught Algebra I, Geometry, and DP Mathematics. BUT now I teach OneGoal Year 1, 2, and 3.

I went to Western Michigan University for my undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Spanish, and English with a minor in history. During my time there, I was able to study abroad in Spain for the summer, and I was there when they won the World Cup!  I moved to Chicago in 2013 and earned my first master's degree from National Louis University while working in AUSL.  I trained for a year at Solorio and then taught two years at McNair Elementary.  Since I have been at BOYCP, I have obtained another master's degree at St. Francis University, and I have achieved National Board Certification.

On a non-academic note, I love playing volleyball. I played all throughout high school, intramural in college, and played in leagues in the city.  I also help coach the teams here at BOYCP.  I love the phone game Picture Cross.
