Dear BOYCP School Community,

We are thrilled to share that Back of the Yards College Prep has been selected as one of six schools to be honored at the upcoming Chicago Board of Education Meeting on January 29th.  Acting Chief Education Officer, Dr. Alfonso Carmona, will be recognizing the diverse college and career pathways available to CPS students. Specifically, our International Baccalaureate (IB) program has been selected for a special highlight to showcase the incredible work of our students and staff. One of our very own Bobcat students, Nathan Wolters, will be speaking on behalf of BOYCP to the entire school board.  

Estimada comunidad escolar BOYCP,

Nos complace anunciar que Back of the Yards College Prep ha sido seleccionada como una de las seis escuelas que serán homenajeadas en la próxima reunión de la Junta de Educación de Chicago, que se celebrará el 29 de enero. El director general de Educación en funciones, el Dr. Alfonso Carmona, reconocerá la diversidad de itinerarios universitarios y profesionales disponibles para los alumnos de CPS. En concreto, nuestro programa de Bachillerato Internacional (IB) ha sido seleccionado para recibir un reconocimiento especial con el fin de mostrar el increíble trabajo de nuestros alumnos y personal. Uno de nuestros propios estudiantes Bobcat, Nathan Wolters, hablará en nombre de BOYCP ante toda la junta escolar.
