The safety of our students is a community-wide effort. To ensure every Bobcat can cross the street safely after school, Back of the Yards High School is partnering with the LSC, PAC/BAC, and Alderwoman J. Ramirez to manage afternoon traffic.
- What’s Changing: Each afternoon, you will see A-frame barricades placed along Hoyne at the 47th Street intersection along the west curb. These barricades will help keep the crosswalks clear and visible for our students as they head home.
- How You Can Help: We know dismissal is a busy time, and we appreciate your support in keeping the area safe. Please park further down Hoyne Avenue to help prevent the intersection from getting blocked.
