Last week BOYCP students and staff welcomed Acting Chief Education Officer Dr. Alfonso Carmona during his visit. The district celebrated continued growth and success in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma and Career-related Programmes here at Back of the Yards College Preparatory High School! Under Principal Manjarrez and AP Walker’s leadership, nearly 60% of the Class of 2025 scored a four or higher on at least one IB exam, earning more than 600 college credits and potentially saving an estimated $700,000 in tuition!
