Use the tutorial video to figure out the notes to Frere a Jacques. Use the GarageBand keyboard to perform the song the best you can and add a loop. All details are included in the video. Good luck!

Follow the attached instructions and create your own remix of Let it be!

Must include the following type of tracks. 
NO LOOPS
NO METRONOME
1 Steinway Grand Piano
1 Synthesizer lead playing MELODICALLY 
1 Synthesizer pad playing HARMONICALLY 

Where you place these parts is up to you, I just need to hear evidence that they happened in the song.

You should be turning in your MP3 on Google Classroom, and a paper with the entire chord progression written out. 
This is going to count as a test grade, so be sure to ask if you need any support.

If you have trouble lining up the vocals with the click, see Mr. Morrow right away. 

Import the Kendrick vocals to GarageBand and create musical accompaniment using at least 4 LOOPS. You may use more if you wish. 
Think creatively-How can you make his vocals pop? Have fun exploring the loops and good luck making it happen!

3 Videos are due by the end of the period FRIDAY! If you cannot perform all three, just talk to me in your video and upload and tell me how it's going for you and what you're struggling with.

Post at least 5 POST ITS in the attached Jamboard as we watch Hip Hop Evolution. You can also add photos, and reply to one another as we watch. Post about interesting things you learned, feelings you have on the documentary, and any thoughts you have as you watch.

All students must complete the notes that appear at :52 seconds through 2:15, and if you are done early you should continue to 2:18 through 3:56 for the more challenging section. Please leave all papers in the neon folder with your period number on it.

Use the Jamboard to create 2 measures of rhythm in 4/4/ time. Practice speaking your rhythm and also clapping it, making sure to emphasize a consistent tempo. Compare your measures with your table or your row, and perform them in sequence. 
Tables and Rows will perform their rhythms throughout the week!

First PBL assignment was a bit confusing, and kinda messy TBH. 
It's week 4, we are all still getting used to this school year. I'm not worried and you shouldn't be either. 

Here's what we need by Friday 2:16 pm. 

Twinkle full song recorded at 120 BPM in GarageBand.
Must save your file as YOUR NAME-TWINKLE.band
Must add at least one loop to your recording, though some folks are getting creative and added 4-5 loops for fun!
Must create an MP3 and upload it to classroom. We will do that in class together for the first one.
