You will use this document to track your rewirement activity. You will have 10 minutes at the start of class each day next week to fill in the appropriate box. Today (Friday, 1/22) you will select which activity you will be committing to and answers the questions in Step 2. This will be submitted, along with your final, on either 1/28 or 1/29 next week.

Read the instructions carefully for each section.

Read, annotate, and make sure you have answered every question. You will get a grade for this (Criterion A), and a grade for a discussion post tomorrow about this article (Criterion C). So make sure you read closely and complete this assignment before class tomorrow.

In this formative assessment, you will be arguing which of the 2 theories of development we have learned about in class is more effective in explaining human development. You will need to address the values and limitations of the theories. A summary of both theories is posted in the box below. You must use textual evidence from those sources to support your claim

My tips--
Read both docs and decide which one makes more sense to you, pick that one for your argument!
Talk about why one theory is strong and the other is weak
Use textual evidence (copy and paste quotes from the docs that prove your point!
Don’t overthink- there is not a wrong answer. You are just being assessed on how you can synthesize information into an argument.

Using the chart, complete the seven scenario questions at the bottom.

Step 1-- Read through the options and select one assessment to complete.
Step 2--You have an individualized copy of both assessments, once you select which one you would like to complete, just ignore the other one.

Due at midnight this Wednesday. This is the first grade of Q2!!

This assignment is optional. If you do not complete the assignment, it will not count against you. If you do complete the assignment, it will replace your lowest criterion B grade.

Complete the journal entry below. (You are receiving credit for 4, 5, & 6 this week. Make sure you have turned in all 3!)

Complete journal #3 with the allotted class time. This weekend I will give you a Criterion C grade on the first 3 weeks of journals, so make sure they are all turned in. REMEMBER--if you took the SAT this month you did NOT have to complete journal #2.

Complete the review guide during your asynchronous work time. Your review guide will be graded. You may use your notes or my slides.

Highlight the part of the sentence that leads you to the correct approach, and write the approach beside the sentence. You will have independent class time to complete this, as well as group time to compare answers/work out any questions before turning in.
