Ms. Galvan ........

Hola ! My name is Cristina Galvan and this is my 16th year of teaching Spanish in Chicago .  I have been blessed to teach Spanish to so many students across the south side of Chicago. I have coached many clubs and sports.

This will be my fifth year teaching at Back of the Yards College Prep and my second year returning coaching Cross Country. I am a proud mother of two amazing humans, a puppy and a kitty. I grew up in the Back of The Yards neighborhood , where I spent my childhood surrounded with lots of Cultura y Amor! In my spare time, I enjoy taking trips with my Amazing boyfriend in our RV and running trails. I love nature and anything Spicy!

I hope this year to continue to do what I love best!
